Known as the ‘Venice of the North,’ Amsterdam’s UNESCO-listed canals cuts through the city, with the two stretch of land joined by charming bridges. Embark on a canal cruise and take on the liquid streets of Amsterdam. Sail past the elegant merchant houses with decorated facades and gables, and major riverside highlights like the iconic Skinny Bridge. During wintertime, the boats are covered and heated to make your cruise extra comfortable and on sunny days, you can enjoy the open deck, so perfect for every weather type.
After the cruise, board your shuttle bus and head to the highlight of the tour, the Keukenhof Gardens. On the way, you will watch a video presentation about Holland and the world famous gardens. Once you arrive at the destination, collect your skip-the-line Keukenhof Gardens ticket, dodge past the long queues, and experience the sheer abundance of colour spreading across 32 hectares of land.
Flowers delight, inspire and makes the world go round. And in 2019, it is this ‘Flower Power’ that Keukenhof celebrates in its 70th year. It was in 1969 that the Flower Power movement brought hippies and music together to make peace and not war. Where can be a better place to celebrate the strength of the lovely blooms than Keukenhof. As part of the theme, you will see an additional 50,000 bulbs of the wonderful tulips, grape hyacinths and crocuses laid out. So this season, say it with flowers – Make Love, Not War!
